Description: Aeonium 'Atropurpurem' is a stunning cultivar reaching around 1m in height. Plants show spectacular colour changes from green with red leaf edges during the growing season, to a deep burgundy red as they become dormant over the summer months.

Plant Care: This is another very tough species and is well suited to growing in full sun and does extremely well when grown in the ground. Plants tend to become a bit spindly, so lightly prune the heads during the growing season (Autumn to Spring) to allow the plants to branch and maintain a compact shape. To get the best colours, grow in good sunlight and allow the plants to dry out over summer.
